For Immediate Release:

Shenandoah Studios Begins Pre-Production on Upcoming Narrative Short Film We’ll Still Be Here, Starring Lindsey Normington from Cannes’ Palm d’Or-Winning, Oscar-Nominated feature Anora.

Shenandoah Studios’ first short narrative project, We’ll Still Be Here, a vampiric horror story from Richmond, VA writer-director Seyla Hossaini, has begun pre-production and is currently completing a final funding campaign.

Actress Lindsey Normington, who recently portrayed Diamond in Sean Baker’s Palm d’Or-winning and Academy Award-nominated feature film, Anora, has signed on as the lead of the film. Actress Paige Smeltzer (Apple TV’s Swagger) will star opposite Normington in the short. Rounding out the cast are Noah Peterson (Discovery’s Evil Kin), Olivia Gropp (QVC’s Holly and Hot Chocolate) and Oliv Hampton.

We’ll Still Be Here is written and will be directed by Seyla Hossaini, whose previous horror shorts have screened at Atlanta Horror Film Festival and Richmond International Film Festival. From a female writer/director’s perspective, the film will bring a fresh take on horror, vampire lore, and prevalent issues/themes worth exploring in the present climate.

We’ll Still Be Here is produced by Jesse Robinson of Shenandoah Studios. Robinson launched Shenandoah Studios in 2023 after 4 years with Get Me Out Productions, the boutique Sunset-Gower TV house which he developed, produced, and pitched scripted and unscripted series for from 2019-23.
